Real Estate Comps Demystified…Sorta

You may recall a webinar we did with Steve last month…

It was a freebie done with the idea of offering give some solid, well-thought answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we get about how to acquire and read comps, how to evaluable real estate deals on paper, and specifically how Steve Cook does all of the above.

In the end it was a great event, and our intent has been to initially just give it away for free to the Flipping Homes community (i.e. you) and then turn it into a video product later.

Since then, many of you have been patiently waiting for the promised replay of the webinar video, and your wait is finally over!……

……eh……sorta.

The Rub…

For some reason getting the video replay together for this event was a real bear for us, fraught with unexpected issues ranging from server incompatibility to missing video pieces.  …whooda thunk?

So finally we got the finished product edited, uploaded, tweaked and ready to go.  And Friday I did a quick spot-check on the videos, just to see it all in action before announcing it to everyone else. 

That’s when I noticed it.  Big chunks of the video are missing. 

Now the audio’s all there, but the video segments for just about every real-world example Steve displayed on his own computer are mysteriously MIA, now replaced with bullet points added by our video editor guy, emphasizing Steve’s teaching points as he shared them.

Frankly, we have no idea where the missing video went or what went wrong. I’m saddened that we didn’t discover it sooner, but - it is, what it is.  No use crying over spilt milk.   Sometimes stuff just happens. 

And we’ll just have to do it over again sometime for a glitch-free recording. 

What About the Replay?

Well we warmly invite you to enjoy and learn from what’s there in the audio and limited video.  Even though we can’t turn it into a product on our end, the content is still invaluable. Steve shares some killer tips that DO NOT require video to appreciate or learn from.
