Texas Ave Rehab Video, Part 4
Before I get to today’s fix-and-flip clip, you should know that Steve’s Rehabbing for Big Cash, Version 2.0 releases tomorrow (Thu. 12/20/07) at 1:00pm Eastern.
This is the newly updated version of Steve’s classic, real life guide to fixing and flipping homes - the material hundreds of now-successful rehabbers cut their teeth on….
…people you know if you’re involved in the Flipping Homes community.
We’ll release full information tomorrow, so I’m not going to go into describing it much here, except to mention that…
1) This really is a “2.0″ version. He’s added 4 hours of Q&A audio, and 3 new DVDs (inlcuding the full version of the “Texas Ave Rehab”.
2) Yes, there will be an “upgrade package” available for a limited time (for anyone who may have previously purchased the manual and are primarily interested in acquiring the new multimedia content).
Speaking of the Texas Avenue Rehab…
…here’s a 4th clip in the series we’ve been putting up in the last couple of weeks.
In a previous video, you saw the “before” kitchen in all it’s “grandeur”. This 4m:2s clip reveals the “after” kitchen, post rehab.
You’ll find Steve and Micah discussing:
- What surprise greeted them upon removing the kitchen flooring?
- What did they do about it?
- How much the kitchen replacement cost them (in total, and in parts)?
- How much different does a faux granite countertop cost compared to “plain vanilla”?
Enjoy!

What a best way to teach, through video!
I agree regarding good work ethics. It is morally correct, and
affects one financially.

Great video!!
I want to start investing in real estate but I have no money ($0 money).
Now would be the best time to start. All te hard money Lender that I contacted they all wants 20% down to
purchase a property.
I live in NY Queens it is hard to find anything cheap to buy.
Qustion: Would it be wise to buy property out of state like South Florida for example. There’s a lot of foreclosure there now, my problem is, I do not want to be over my head with this.
I want to start investing, I realy do.
What do you think I should do without any money?

Thanks Steve and JP — appreciate all that you do for the FH community! Those are the same style cabinets and counters that I used in a rental rehab that I just finished. My layout was a galley style kitchen, but the price mark came in about the same as yours. I dressed-up the cabinet doors with nice handle pulls ($2.99 ea) - made a big difference.

Hi Steve,
please tell me how to get a copy of your new book/dvd course on rehabing and the cost. Good job on that Kitchen! What state is Mike in? I got a kitchen job for him haha. I was particuarly impressed by his honesty about how easy the job was, that is very modest. Thank you
